The City created a Sustainable Neighborhood Toolkit to help community groups advance triple bottom line sustainability in their neighborhoods. The Toolkit features 27 how-to tools for implementing specific neighborhood-scale sustainability projects, highlights local resources and case studies, and includes general tips about neighborhood-level organizing and fundraising. Residents and neighborhood groups can use the Sustainable Neighborhood Toolkit to generate project ideas, as well as access step-by-step guidance and resources.
The toolkit will soon be developed into a searchable, web-based tool that will serve as a living idea bank with the ability to upload examples of other sustainable neighborhood projects. In the meantime, download version 1.0 of the City of St. Louis Sustainable Neighborhood Toolkit.
